The Story of Just Brave Enough

Five pastors attended a class, a friendship began, and a team was created to share the stories of the women in scripture. Laura had a vision—while in seminary she had written first person narratives about biblical women and wanted to write a book. But the work never progressed until she met Becca, Jessica, Lillian and Yena, and realized that diverse voices were needed to enrich and enliven. Together we share a love of scripture and desire to amplify women's voices, not just the big names you know like Eve and Sarah and Mary, but all of the named and unnamed women who are part of the story of God's people. We started writing and we gathered together in person and on Zoom and discovered we could create worship liturgy and small group curriculum and make a website, and now here we are. Sharing these women with you.
